The Munchables Starlight Chew Necklaces feature our standard smooth, round silicone beads. Round beads have slightly more "squish" than pendants and can be preferred by some children. Complete this look with the matching chew bracelet!

This style is appropriate for mild-moderate chewers. The tips of the star are prone to tearing by more aggressive chewers as it is made of thinner silicone.

• We recommend starting with a medium chew. Munchables are classified into the following level:

   

  Medium — Medium chews are appropriate for most chewers. This chewelry is firm, but still has some "squish" factor. Beaded styles are the chewiest option due to their centre hole.

   

• The Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists recommends Munchables chewelry for its ability to “replace inappropriate chewing behaviour (i.e. chewing on fingernails, pencils or clothing). Furthermore, it can "provide potential regulating effects for the sensory system - reducing fidgeting and promoting attention and focus.”

  Chewelry can also help reduce anxiety and stress, making it ideal for individuals with autism and ADHD to self-regulate.

• Munchables chewelry is made from safe, non-toxic, durable silicone, entirely free from plastics, phthalates, lead, PVC, BPA, latex, or cadmium.

  The breakaway clasp is NOT intended for chewing. Replacement clasps are available.

  It's important to remember that even though it's durable, no chew is indestructible. Regularly inspect for signs of wear and replace as necessary.
